High Intensity Training for Middle Age People–Pro or Con

Just a quick note on my article in the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) Sideline Report.  We debate on the Pro and Con of HIT for Middle aged people.  Of course, I was the “Pro” argument.  My feelings are that if people enjoy it, is safe, and effective, why the heck not?

Here’s the full report.  http://www.amssm.org/NewsletterPDFS/September_2015.pdf

What do you think about the “Con” argument?  Is there something that I should have considered?

  1. Thanks, Rob!

This is interesting, and motivates me to get back into some kind of exercise routine (which is a big part of the Autoimmune protocol). I’ve been very bad about committing the time. Difficult for someone in a profession where there is no routine or set hours whatever.

But, reading this reinforces the importance of making exercise a priority. I used to really like kick boxing…that is somewhat of an interval format.

Hope you guys are doing great! I’m always so happy to see your beautiful family on Facebook. Your family is a shining light of the love of Jesus!

Say hi to Connie for me.
