I’ve been a big fan of gait retraining. I’ve always struggled on how to quickly teach our athletes how to change their gait. It’s difficult to do in the outpatient clinic and especially if you don’t have time to find to put them on a treadmill and watch their gait.

Another cue I use that helps people is to use a jump rope. This is a great cue from Brian MacKenzie using a jump rope and running with a jump rope for progressions.
